The Pulau Redang Marine Park encompasses several natural groups of islands off the coast of Kuala Terengganu, about 45 km (28 miles) off the east coast of Peninsular Malaysia. The park comprises the waters off nine islands which include the: Redang group (Pulau Redang, and several other smaller islands); Perhentian group (Pulau Perhentian Besar, Pulau Perhentian Kecil); Pulau Lang Tengah, mid way between the former two groups of islands, and; Pulau Kapas, about 64 km (40 miles) to the south of Redang and closer to the shores off Marang.

When to go
